Interactive Book, with page curl

As a side project, I really wanted to look into making my book interactive with the viewer being able to drag the pages over just like a book. I wasn't expecting to get this done for submission, but after some tutorials and help from friends, I managed to get it the way I wanted.

I started off by creating a new InDesign document. I had the format of the pages A4 Landscape to fit my already made pages. I then my my page images into the document. I first of all had a script enabled which allowed me to import it as a pdf, however I lost a lot of quality this way, so went on to putting the images in separately.

After it was all ready to go, I exported the file as a .SWF file, which enabled me to have a page curl animation on the document. This opened as an HTML, with my book animated and able to be interacted with. This however wasn't what I needed, as I needed it as a .PDF file.

Therefore, after this, I opened a new document in InDesign and opened a blank 2 page spread. Here, I placed my saved .SWF file into the document. After clicking Media at the side and adjusting the settings, I was able to export as an Interactive PDF, enabling the viewer to turn the pages of my PDF file just as they would a book. This is what I will be finally submitting.
