The NUA Incident, 3D Asset

For the NUA incident project, I wanted to create a very simple asset as I haven't completed any 3D work for a long time! To start off with, I just put a cube into Maya and created my frame. 


After I created my basic frame I used my textures, and textured the model. After checking the submission guidelines, and making sure my model fit the bill, I exported the file as a FBX, and the texture as a TGA. I can now test if it works in Unity.


After putting the base model into the workspace in Unity, and importing the texture, it was very easy to place the texture file on the model and test that the file works and adjust the scale factor.
